Why is keeping WordPress Plugins updated so important?
Out of date plugins and themes are the primary source of malware being injected into websites. Automated bots will take advantage of known vulnerabilities to hijack clicks on your site, or insert unwanted content.
If you’re on our hosting, then you can’t lose your site as we have secure overnight backups, but you still don’t want the inconvenience of it if at all possible.
As long as plugins are updated on a monthly basis, you should be all good.
Can’t I just update them myself?
Absolutely! And if you’re not sure how to do it head over to the blog where we cover that exact situation.
It’s not difficult, just takes a bit of time and if something does go wrong, and you need help debugging it, that could cost more than a maintenance plan does
Do I need the performance or security insights?
If you need to ask then the answer is probably no. These are only applicable to larger sites with more traffic than the average small business. Invaluable data for some businesses, and utterly irrelevant for others.
If I don’t give you a blog to post, do I get a refund?
No. We can only take on a certain number of the Blogger package and time will have been allocated to do the work for you.
How do I provide the blog content?
We will set up a Google Drive folder with a sub folder for each month. You simply drop your content in there and we will post it on your blog, and optimise it for your chosen keyword.
