Maintenance Packages

From: £20.00 / month with a 10-day free trial

Take the stress out of keeping your WordPress site updated!

Whether you’re using our hosting or not, our WordPress Maintenance Packages can help to ensure that your site is as secure as it can be. With all plugins updated on a weekly basis and checked for any compatibility issues.

On top of that, take the stress out of keeping your content updated by getting us to do it! We’ll provide a folder on Google Drive for you to add content to, drop in a text file and the images you want to use and we’ll make sure it’s all optimised and posted on your site on an agreed date. Perfect if you want to jot down blogs on the road and don’t like dealing with the backend editor.

Options of a blog per month, or either 3 blogs or 6 blogs per year.

The 10 day free trial is to give us 10 days to get logins and folders etc all set up for you. Updates won’t be started until after this.

Get two months free when you pay yearly.

I will need login details for your WordPress site – I recommend setting me up as an existing user. Or changing your password to something you don’t use anywhere else so that I can set one up for myself.

Description

[vc_row][vc_column width=”1/1″][vc_accordion][vc_accordion_tab title=”How do I send you my blog info?” tab_id=”1581508111-1-42″][vc_column_text]The 10 day trial is to get this all in place, you will be given access to a shared Google Drive folder containing a folder per month of the year. You simply drop your text content in there (in any format other than .pages) along with your images. I can then download the content, optimise your images and create the post on your WordPress account during the agreed month.[/vc_column_text][/vc_accordion_tab][vc_accordion_tab title=”What if I don’t give you any copy for a month, do I get a discount or extension?” tab_id=”1581508111-2-63″][vc_column_text]Afraid not. Whether or not I post any content for you during a month or not, the time to do so has been allocated to you. The best idea is to plan ahead, post several months at once. It means you can write blogs on the go in just a text file and drop them to me later.[/vc_column_text][/vc_accordion_tab][vc_accordion_tab title=”Does keeping plugins updated guarantee my site is secure?” tab_id=”1581508351332-2-5″][vc_column_text]Unfortunately not. It does however, minimise the risk of your site being compromised. If you’re on shared hosting though, you can be impacted by a site on the same server being hacked.

You should already be taking backups of your site on a regular basis. For example, our own hosting offering backs up off-site to Amazon Web Services on a nightly basis. Your host may be doing similar, but it is worth checking.[/vc_column_text][/vc_accordion_tab][vc_accordion_tab title=”You’re doing my updates, but when I log in it says some are still outstanding?” tab_id=”1581508500659-3-6″][vc_column_text]Your updates will be done at around the same time once a week. Typically on a Monday.

If an update to a plugin or theme is released half way through the week, this will not be picked up until the following update. So it is normal for this to occur on occasion.[/vc_column_text][/vc_accordion_tab][/vc_accordion][/vc_column][/vc_row]
